A great computer for a great price
I own a little moving and delivery company. My very first computer purchase was from PC Laptops about four years ago when your SLC store was on 900 so. That was a very expensive computer for me but I had been assured by my friends that PC Laptop computers were worth the price. I now agree.
Recently I went into your SLC store,on state and 7th, in search of another computer. My company has grown and we are in need of a new computer. Nephi Printy was very helpful in helping me select a nice computer for my needs. I wanted to purchase the cheapest desktop available, ( because , you know, I have not hit the big time yet.) Nephi was great in explaining that while the cheapest computer was still a great product, my money would be better spent on the next model up and with a few up-sales, oops I mean upgrades.
I was not the ideal customer, being a business owner has turned me into a mega-cheapskate, and I could not afford all the options even with financing. Nephi worked with the manager and was able to get me a great computer for a great price. There are cheaper computers out there but I am very pleased with PC Laptops and will continue to purchase my computers from your company. Thank You Nephi and the Salt Lake store staff for working with me.

I bought my computer years ago in Bountiful at Totally Awesome Computers. We've since moved to Hawaii and when my computer started giving me major problems last week (not to mention the major pain it was to deal with 'technicians' from our internet support people for hours on end) it became apparent that I needed to start over and reinstall my Windows XP. Though somewhat (and I mean a teensy-wheensy) bit computer savvy, I was totally freaked about doing this. So I took a deep breath and decided to call PC Laptops to see if they had any advice for me. Good ol' Nat answered the phone. Instead of saying, "yea...you might want to pay someone to do it for you" or "good luck" or even "send your hard drive to me in Utah" he said "Wow. That's a doozie over the phone. But I'll take the time to walk you through it."
Honestly, I was so thankful I just about teared up. I know he had a million other things to do and walking someone through this installation over the phone has to be a job no one wants to do, most even unwilling to take the time. He really went above and beyond the proverbial call of duty and deserves special notice for it. What a guy! My computer now works like a breeze.
Now when I hear "PC Laptops.... where we LOVE YOU" I know you aint a'kiddin. Because of Nat you've won my confidence, vote and future business (if old Bessie here ever finally gives up the ghost). But we both have large families spread all over Utah and you can bet we'll send them to you!

I just had a power surge at home, my computer fluttered, lost the screen and then my new computer went all weird. I can't even tell you what it did because I have never seen that screen before. Anyway, after fear set in my heart, I grabbed the business card from PC Laptops, called the number and got Dan Fox on the phone. He was able to walk me through what I needed to do, and get my computer up and running again. I even learned about a brain fart! I am not an ungrateful person, but I rarely ever take the time to write about a consumer experience. Perhaps it is because of the general sense of apathy that I'm normally encountered with upon completing such transactions. However, Trevor at the 9009 South and State location in Sandy deserves to be thanked publicly for such astounding professionalism.
Upon entering the store I was greeted by Trevor who was smiling and maintaining exceptional eye-contact. I presented him with a sheet of requirements regarding a laptop that I needed for graduate school. We sat down together and he explained the various options in a concise and well thought-out manner. Due to my budgeting restrictions, I was also thankful that he didn't’t attempt to sell me on any unnecessary items that – given my technical limitations—I would never use nor need. Although, if I do ever need to upgrade it is comforting to know that too can be accomplished with a great deal of ease.
The next business day Trevor called to notify me that my laptop was ready to use. I picked it up later that day and upon arrival at work, I turned it on and began a project. It was such a smooth transition from entering the store, discussing what I needed, picking up the laptop and beginning some work that It wasn't’t until now (two weeks later) that I had a chance to reflect upon what a positive experience it had been. Now, everyone that I know has heard of my experience. In fact, if it hadn't’t been such a remarkably positive experience, I’d probably be sick of telling people about it!
Thank you PC Laptops for providing a superior product and for conducting your business in such a wonderful manner. It was so refreshing not to be hassled and to be treated with respect despite my limited means.

We are writing this letter to let you know how exceptionally pleased we are with one of your employees, Kevin. The last part of November we came in to talk with your employees about building a specialized computer for our son for Christmas and to have two computers repaired for my sister that she had purchased from Totally Awesome Computers.
That night we met with Jaim and Kevin and went through various possibilities for the computer. I had talked earlier with Jaim on the phone and he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the specific game that my son wanted to install on the computer.
The first part of December we came in to place the order for our son’s computer. Kevin took over on the order and we wanted to write and let you know how pleased we have been with his service. Kevin has been wonderful to work with! He called to let us know how things were progressing, the various options we would have and we pretty much placed everything into his hands and trusted that he would build the best computer.
Christmas morning was a blast. My husband and I had purchased a “bomb” of a computer from Deseret Industries. We meticulously painted the outside of the computer with green and red stripes, placed holly-berry garland and snowflakes on the sides and hand stenciled in “Limited Edition” on the front of the case. It looked absolutely professional. Christmas morning arrived and Stephen, our son, was so excited to see his new computer. He was cautiously appreciative of his “new” computer, but I wish you had been there to see the genuine smile and glow on his face when he realized that his “real” computer was the one Kevin had put together. He couldn't’t wait until it was in his room and truthfully I haven’t seen him since (he is a teenager and I should have done this years ago!). I asked him if he was happy with everything and he just couldn't’t express in words how happy and how pleased he is with his new computer. Kevin even went the extra mile and wrapped the colored cords inside the computer perfectly so they would show in a decorative festive style.
Thank you for making our Christmas wonderful! Please commend Kevin on his exceptional service. He was very helpful in everything from explaining the basics to making sure we received the best components and monitor. We are self employed and know how difficult it is to find great employees. Kevin (and Jaim) are certainly in this category!

I bought my PC Laptop one and a half years ago. Around the same time two co-workers of mine bought comparable laptops. One was an alienware the other was a knock off brand that still cost more than PC Laptops. The alienware constantly has problems and has been sent back to alienware three times to date (at the customers expense) and the knock off brand set itself on fire. So not only did I save almost $1,000 over the alienware and just over $500 over the other brand, but mine is the only one still working. So thank you PC Laptops, for a superior product and extreme service.

I called your Riverdale, Utah store last Monday in a tizzy because my four-year old HP died overnight. I spoke with Harrison, who told me to bring down my HP and he'd see about either fixing it or getting me set up with a new computer. I knew the HP was past its prime anyway because I've been running Photoshop CS on it for two years, really slowly I might add, and Harrison ended up building a new Tsunami Dream desktop computer for me that day. He was able to save all of my documents and music on the HP and transferred them over to the new machine. On Tuesday, I picked up my new computer and have nothing but excellent things to say about it, Harrison and PC Laptops. Harrison called today to see how things were going with the new machine and I told him that as I was erasing the files he transferred to the new computer, I lost my entire iTunes library (over 1000 songs!) and as I type this, Harrison is pulling my library off my old computer again. He's a life saver and a fantastic employee at PC Laptops! He was so kind, very knowledgeable and really made me happy with my purchase. I've been to PC Laptops before for a disk problem which was quickly fixed for free; a new CD burner which someone installed for me right there for free; and now this wonderful new desktop. I just had to write and tell you what a fantastic experience I have had in getting my laptop to function properly while working with two extra-mile employees!
My laptop just wouldn't work with the Pinnacle
Video/Picture editing program we bought from Totally
Awesome for over 6 weeks now and needless to say, I was
very frustrated with the whole thing! I made many trips
into PC Laptops to try anything and everything, literally!! I worked with DENT, who sold us the laptop and then with
FLUKE so many times I can't count them all! But each and
every time I called or came in I was treated with respect
and courtesy and dignity and they finally. after calling
Pinnacle and putting it through every test possible, fixed
it for me and it works like a dream now… I'm so happy,
finally! I just finished my Video after 6 weeks of working
on it constantly and can hardly wait to burn it so everyone

I just want to say a big thank you to Joe and Seth at PC
Laptops West Jordan store. I have had two prior computers
purchased through PC and my husband gave me a new computer
for Christmas which I promptly took back because it didn't
come from PC Laptops and I can't imagine buying one
anywhere else since the service is outstanding and the
computers last so long. We took our 7 year old computer in
to Joe on Monday and was told it could not be fixed, so we
decided to bite the bullet and get a new one. I was not
able to be there the day that my Husband decided to buy me
one and when he got it home, I was disappointed in the one
that he had chosen and I hated the new microsoft program so
I was very upset. The next day I went in to the store,
told them of my frustration and both Joe and Seth made it
clear that the only thing that mattered was that I was
happy. So, to make a long story short, they fixed me up
with the model I wanted, transferred eve rything from my
old computer, spent a great deal of time showing me how to
work everything. I am so grateful because tonight, both of
us are having a ball with our brand new computer and again,

Elite systems over on 9th south and 4th east or something
like that. Anyway, about 3 years ago I moved to Phoenix and
I bought another laptop from you guys and had it sent to
Phoenix so I am a long time, loyal customer. I am also
interested in you newest laptop.
I had some pop-ups on my computer that Ad-aware, Spybot
and Microsoft couldn't’t get rid of so I called your customer
service and they hooked me up with Jessica. I want to say
thanks for excellent service. So many times people will
say that they have customer service but when you go to use
it it seems like a great big hassle. That was certainly not
the case with Jessica. Jessica was very professional,
polite, funny, patient and she also got the job done. My
computer is now free of any of the garbage that was

This email is long overdue, but I wanted to let you know
what a great help Javier was when we purchased our very
first laptop.
We came to PC Laptops because the advertisements claimed
you were the best. After about 10 minutes in your Sandy
store I could see why: the honesty, the service plan and
the quality of the laptop. It took another 10 minutes
and I was out the door with my new laptop. This is where
Javier came in. I am famous for trying to "figure it out
myself" when it comes to computers, even though I have
very little technical knowledge. Javier was very helpful
in re-imaging the laptop after my first mistake, and
continued to be patient and helpful through my next visits
and phone calls when I messed up our wireless internet
access. I greatly appreciated Javier's professionalism,
quality of service and helpfulness. Not once since the
purchase of my laptop have I been disappointed with any
aspect of PC Laptops. Unfortunately for me, the PC Laptop
is for my husband, a student, and I have to work on a
company laptop. Many times I have wished the 2 letters
on the emblem said "PC" instead of this other brand. But
for now I will continue to share with my friends and family
where they can get the best laptops on the planet.

Remote Desktop Help
A huge THANK YOU to Joe & Jessica at PC Laptops in Salt Lake City! I live in Houston, Texas and can’t just “bring in my computer.” Joe tried to help me over the phone, but I couldn't’t explain my problem well enough to help him help me. Besides which, he already had a customer waiting and another coming in to pick up a laptop. Since the remote link program was already in use, Joe promised me that he or someone that was an expert on wireless networks would call me back shortly. Jessica filled the bill completely.
Using the My PC remote link program on the web, Jessica was able to configure my new wireless network router/printer
server to work with not only my laptop, but my desktop PC
which is moving upstairs to my son’s room. She quickly
isolated the problems, solved them, and explained to me
what she was doing the whole time so I could learn from
this process.
This kind of super service with patience for all my
questions and curiosity is exactly why I was willing to
pay more for my laptop. And this is also why I recommend
PC Laptops to anyone who mentions wanting to buy a laptop. I even gave a sales pitch to the sales guy at Best Buy! He was trying to sell me a laptop and when he found out I
get free lifetime service and technical support and only
have to pay for parts (and my laptop is upgradeable!) he
was sold. He said he’d order on-line when he was ready
to buy one for his dad.
Keep up the good work and great service! And I’ll keep
giving my sales pitch here in Houston!

Since that date I have needed help learning how to use the system and there were some things wrong with it. I came in and Fluke and Ryan went out of their way to take care of me and get me on my way. I couldn't believe how willing they were to help me. I even had some problems with my financing with American General and Fluke and Ryan put me in touch with the local office and I was able to work it all out. I love the service that I have received so far and will tell all my friends about you guys!

After several months of research and several visits to PC Laptops in Orem, UT store, I chose to purchase one. I was most pleased with the unit but even more impressed with the service of Kris "Fluke" Fluckiger.
I have been a Quality Assurance Professional for most of my adult life and am currently the Chief Quality Assurance Auditor for EG&G Defense Materials. As such, I am quite demanding about the service I receive and the performance of the equipment I buy. Fluke was able to answer all my questions and provide me several days of person to person contact to get my unit on line after several screw ups on my part. He demonstrated a high level of technical competence and a willingness to serve. It is persons like him that keep PC Laptops the company they are. This is my first PC Laptop but, it will not be my last.

My son just left for Colorado to go to school at the University of Denver. He's going into computer science and needed a really good laptop. We spent the summer looking at many different places but my son liked your place the best. He was adamant that we get his laptop with you guys. We got an estimate and I sent it off to my son's college trust. Unfortunately, due to vacations and odd things the money for his laptop came very, very late. It actually came the day he was leaving to go to school. We were panicked. On top of everything else the money posted in my account on a Saturday. My husband is a dialysis patient and I had to dialyze him in the morning before we left from Fillmore (110 miles away) so we were already cutting it close.
A gentleman by the name of Jake Ballamis helped us when we got there. We had a $3500.00 dollar budget and he quickly and efficiently set us up with a system that my son needed under that amount. I had lost my driver's licence a week before and I only had a temporary black and white one. My credit isn't terrific because of all my husband's medical bills so that wasn't really an option. PC laptops couldn't take my check without a real driver's licence and I understood that. We were in a dilemma. We desperately needed the laptop and the money was there, but I didn't have anyway to pay for it that was acceptable. Jake bent over backwards for us. Finally we decided to have my son pay for it with a check because he had valid ID. By this time it was quite late and Jake stayed late for us to put it together. He was really wonderful. He even spent awhile with my son teaching him some computer programming tricks that would be useful for him at college.
I am so impressed with Jake and PC laptops that I am definitely buying my daughter's lap top from you guys when she goes to college next year. You are a classy organization. Thank you.

After a terrible service experience last winter, I wish to tell you how great of a job you did for me this summer. I apologize for waiting so long to communicate this.
On a Wednesday morning (late July) my computer would not start up. After talking with Javier Lopez at the Riverdale store (where I purchased the computer) it was determined it could not be repaired over the phone. I overnighted the computer to the store on Wednesday. Unfortunately, UPS tried to deliver the computer prior to the store opening and did not return until much later in the day. By the time the problem was diagnosed and we decided to trade for a new computer, there was not ample time to set up the new computer and transfer all my data and programs.
I am a consultant living in Indiana and was working in Ohio at the time of the problem. My computer is critical to me carrying out my work and being without it is not an option. Since the computer was not ready on Thursday, Javier overnighted it to me for Saturday morning arrival at my location. I thought I would have to spend time setting up the computer and re-installing drivers, but was pleasantly surprised to find all data transferred as well as programs and drivers. All I had to do was verify the Office software and was good to go. That was fantastic. I really could not tell there had ever been a change of computers. Others don't believe that when I tell them!
If only your people could have done half as well last winter. Javier called me numerous times to update me on the status and it turned out that what he said was the way it was. Last winter, there was no communication from your end, only me calling and being told things that turned out not to be accurate. In that case, it took 8 days to get my computer repaired & returned and then hours on the phone with your tech people to get it up and working after I received it.
You have re-established your credibility with me and I appreciate that.

My name is Christopher Kahl and I own a PC gaming accessory company that’s located in SLC. Last weekend was a big LAN party where I was to demo a new gaming mouse pad we just released when my PCLaptop (987) would’t post. Needless to say, I was crushed as I had spent a lot of money on this product and wanted it to show it off. So, I packed up my things, closed my booth and left the LAN party. As I was driving home I thought that I would just stop by the Murray location to see if there was anything that could be done about this.
As usual, I was greeted by friendly faces and I explained my dire situation to both the store manager and to Mr. Anger. Both gentlemen agreed that my case was very important so Mr. Anger went straight to work in diagnosing my 987’s problem. Come to find out, my motherboard was at fault so he quickly switched my system out with the demo unit up front. I was blown away that he did this while I waited! Wow! What service. To add even more gravity to this situation, I had hired a professional sign company to make special decals for the front and back of my LCD screen. I needed these working as much as the entire 987 actually as these were advertisements for my company and products. Mr. Anger actually replaced the LCD screen housing for me! He saved me time and money by providing customer service that was by far above and beyond anything that I had expected. This 987 is the second one I have purchased this year. When it comes time to buy a replacement for my 987’s I will definitely come to PC Laptops!
So, in closing, I am happy that I chose PC Laptops over Dell, over Alienware and over any other manufacturer of high end gaming systems.

My computer went down on me bout a week ago on a friday just as i was needing to get some term papers done. i brought my laptop in and there was a gal named jessica who helped get the gunk out of my computer. but then about a day later i called up a little bent (not letting the computer gurus no it) because the computer was as slow as it was when i first brought it in.
Anyhow i hustled down to the office on 900 south thinking that i would have to leave my computer couple of days=( but to my relief jessica had me on my way in about 10 minutes, she was very patient. pc laptops hires the best employees all the gurus were wonderful but i was especially pleased with jessica.
