Hal W. Adams, history, debate and drivers education teacher at Grand County High in the Grand County School District was honored with the 2008 Utah state teacher of the year award; the award recognizes the teachers in our communities that strive and achieve excellence in educating our youth.
Working with the Utah State Office of Education to recognize our 2008 Utah teacher of the year, Daniel Young, owner and CEO of PC Laptops Computers donated a laptop to be given away as a grand prize for the Utah teacher of the year award.
When asked to comment on the award Mr. Young said “Teachers like Hal shape the future of our country, Hal you are my hero and we love you!”
